Mindfulness?

  • Training the mind to focus attention on present moment;
  • Being in the here and now with open, curious, kind attention;
  • Learning acceptance of what we cannot change;
  • Recognizing our biased and distorted thoughts and letting them go;
  • Being with difficult emotions and understanding what they might be needing;
  • Letting go of our judgments of self and others and using discernment instead;
  • Developing equanimity, compassion, and loving kindness.
